The main objective of ‘Eshana: Through Women’s Lens’, an annual blind peer-
reviewed multidisciplinary research journal published by the Principal, Pub Kamrup
College (on behalf of Women Cell) is to promote research aptitudes among the
scholars and faculties specially focusing on the issues of Women.
This multi-lingual (Assamese and English) publication will accommodate papers from
contributor(s) having research values and academic contribution.
For the views and opinions expressed in the articles, sole responsibility is on the
authors. Editor is not responsible in this regard.
Authors should refrain from using racist and sexist terms in their paper.
Articles submitted elsewhere or considered for publication in any other journal, will
not be considered here. We are strictly against simultaneous submissions.
The contributor must provide a declaration that his/her paper has not been published
in any other journal. The declaration form is attached.
An abstract of around 200-350 words along with keywords and a bio-note must
accompany the submission.
The word limit for the full paper is 3000-4500 words including the Works Cited/
References. Book reviews should be within 1000-1200 words.
a) Authors should use Times New Roman, 12pt font-size and lines must be 1.5 spaced
for submissions in English.
b) For submissions in Assamese, Nirmala UI, 14pt font-size and lines in 1.5
spaced is prescribed.
MLA and APA (latest edition) style-sheet are to be followed while writing the
research papers. Details of all works cited in the text should be provided at the end of
the article as "Works Cited" or "References".
Authors will be communicated about the status of their paper through their valid e-
mail IDs.
Authors must submit ORCID ids along with their manuscript/ submission.
Authors must attach the Plagiarism checked report (must be 10% or less) along with
the manuscript.
A minimum article processing fees will be charged upon acceptance of publication.
The journal welcomes original, unpublished research papers and book reviews from the field of Social Sciences, Humanities, Language and Literature . PG students, Research Scholars, Independent researchers, Faculty members and Academicians can send in their manuscripts to Quill: the mighty pen.
